What is Stealth Society?Stealth Society connects stealth car campers and other nomads that live in vehicles of all kinds.What are the benefits of becoming a member?Being a vehicle dweller is awesome...most of the time. But quite often, it can also be lonely, frustrating, and scary. The benefits of joining Stealth Society are many: meeting new friends and fellow nomads, finding activity buddies, becoming pen pals, or even seeking or offering nomad-related services.Lots of people don't understand the unique lifestyle that we live, and some even look down upon it. It helps a lot to have fellow nomads as friends, and this is an easy way to find them.Am I required to share my location when joining?Absolutely not. It's totally up to you.You can choose to enter your city & state, state only, or no location at all. The latter is great if you don’t have a home base, or maybe if you prefer not share your exact whereabouts.Am I required to upload a photo of myself?No, you are not. However, most people like to put a face to the name, and in general, feel more comfortable this way. So, it is highly recommended if you wish to get contacted by others.Will my email address be visible on my profile to everyone that uses Stealth Society?No! Here's how it works: when someone contacts you initially, your email is hidden. Only if & when you respond to their message/email will they know your email address. If you don't respond, they will never get your address. Further...You may also consider using a secondary or disposable email address, specifically for Stealth Society. This way people don't get your primary (real) address whenever a conversation is started.Can I share my website, social media links, or other assets here?For the safety & security of members, the sharing of such information is discouraged. If any material of this nature is posted, it will be removed immediately.Someone sent me a crude/inappropriate/threatening message. What should I do?Remember that the ball is in your court.
